Game Notes:
For the second time this year JOCO had to re-schedule their game because of a hurricane.  However, the outcome was not as kind to the Trojans this time.  JOCO lost a heartbreaking double overtime game to Jenkins County, 36-30.  The Trojans got a bad omen early on as Bran Rawlings re-injured his ankle just a few minutes into the game.  He would be joined on the sidelines by Ty Cannon and Tyrik Jackson before the half was over.  However, the Trojans continued to fight until the end.  Trailing 22-15 with 7:00 to play JOCO marched 60 yards in 8 plays to tie the game and sent it to overtime.  The Trojans matched Jenkins touchdown and two point conversion in the first overtime.  However, after fumbling away their possession the Trojans defense was unable to hold Jenkins out of the end zone in the second overtime.

Jalen Johnson played a great game on both sides of the ball…catching 7 passes for 135 yards and 2 touchdowns on offense and making 14 solo tackles on defense.  Perhaps because one of his go-to receivers was back Brooks Norton looked sharp completing 10-15 passes for 141 yards.  Malik Pierce added 115 yards rushing on 16 carries.  After suffering three consecutive losses in a season for the first time since 2007 JOCO will get a needed week off before facing ECI.  With two wins in their final three games the Trojans still hold a good chance of making the playoffs.
