Game 6: 9/30 vs. Wheeler County (Homecoming)
Wheeler Co.   28

JOCO   14
Record: 4-2 (1-1 Region)
Next Week: at Jenkins County
October 14: BYE WEEK
October 21: vs. ECI
Game Notes:
Johnson County shockingly lost to Wheeler County by a score of 28-14. It is the 5th lost all time to the Bulldogs from Alamo and the first lost to them since 1999. Even though the Trojans were missing their two best players, the game was winnable, and mistakes prevented us from winning. The Trojans will travel to Millen next weekend to face Jenkins County, before a bye week and then coming home to face ECI.  JOCO falls to 4-2 and 1-1 in region. JOCO will have to play better if they want to make the playoffs.

However, the world is not ending. For those complaining about QB play, please look at the roster. Click on the tab that says "ROSTER" on it please. The best players are being played, and it's not because of "Daddy." Also, for those wanting to fire the head coach, please click on the "HISTORY" tab. Go look at all the great things he has done for this program. Coach Don Norton is the 2nd greatest coach in the history of the program and could surpass Coach Bonds in the future as the best coach this program has ever had. For those saying there is a better option, I ask who? Les Miles? Art Briles? After a loss, the fan's most hated person ever is the head coach and the most liked person is the backup QB. Cut it out, we're not a delusional fanbase, we live in Wrightsville, not Soperton. Support the Trojans. The team needs your support as they push for the playoffs. Every game matters from here on out. jenkins, ECI, Treutlen and the crossover. Be loud, be proud, and Go Trojans.
